The Colorado State University Challenge Course has a unique mix of low and high elements, both static and dynamic, that are designed to challenge individuals and groups physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our course features challenges you won't experience anywhere else.

Additionally, we have a 40 ft climbing tower offering six different climbing routes. Beyond our course elements we also offer a heated, insulated Yurt for indoor challenges, beautiful views, organic gardens and landscaping along the Spring Creek corridor, and a myriad of challenging initiatives borrowed from others, or invented by our facilitators.

The low elements provide groups the opportunity to work together to problem solve, and establish unity. The high elements allow individuals a chance to climb 30-40 feet in the air and take safe, challenging risks. The high element course was built according to national safety standards (ACCT), and must pass a safety inspection by a trained professional every year. Participants on high elements must wear safety harnesses and helmets and are safely belayed.

Our facilities are staffed with trained, innovative, and professional facilitators who pride themselves in working hard to create an atmosphere of challenge and safety for your group. This diverse group includes small business owners and entrepreneurs, Backcountry Guides, University faculty and staff, graduate and undergraduate students, and community educators. It is our goal to help you and your organization reach your potential.

Directions: We are located at 1717 Centre Avenue, just to the south of the main CSU Campus and adjacent to the Spring Creek Trail System. From I-25 take the Prospect exit West. Cross College Avenue. The first stop light past College is Centre. Turn left and proceed one block. The Challenge Course is on the right hand side (West).
