Bring On the Structures!

The range of structures is taking shape as the various beams that connect to the concrete foundations are welded together.  Behind the giant white wall (that a lucky CSU student will soon be chosen to decorate) there are gaping holes in the concrete (wall footers), where walls will soon be erected. These will frame the new cycling and martial arts areas. Along the southwest corner of the Rec., you’ve seen walls obliterated, parking lots annihilated, bike racks destroyed and grass and trees eradicated. This action-packed vicinity will soon become the new cardio zone. On the north east side of the building, the MAC gym is being prepared for the concrete to be poured. Check out the pics below!

What Goes Down Must Come Up!

We are officially surrounded by a construction site rather than a destruction site!  It appears that all the summer rain has watered the seedlings of the framework.  New exciting structures have been erected for the MAC (Multi-Activity Center), the rock climbing wall, the entryway and the office suites.

Demolition!

The destruction before the construction prolongs inside and outside of the Rec.  The obliteration seems to be haphazard, but we are well informed that it is, in fact, carefully plotted annihilation. Look at the pictures below for a close-up sneak peek of what’s going on behind the scenes!
