Training Tip Tuesday Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday, September 1 - December 1.

Stop into the Fitness Center to receive professional training guidance.  Our Certified Personal Trainers are available to assist you towards successful fitness endeavors.  We can assist you with the following services:

Pre-registration is available for 20-minute sessions and clinics 24 hours prior to Training Tip Tuesday.  Stop in and register at the Personal Training booth located in the Fitness Center.


 

FITNESS ASSESSMENTS: The fitness assessment, regardless of current fitness level or exercise experience, is a very important tool to benchmark one's current fitness levels in order to develop accurate exercise recommendations and establish reasonable fitness goals, chart progress, and determine current health related status. After gathering this information, results will be interpreted and provided in a professional report for you to keep.  Fitness Assessments include cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscual endurance, body composition, flexibility and more...$25 **Fitness Assessment are FREE August 24-September 30, 2009.  Stop by the Service Center to register.

Fitness Assessment required for all new Personal Training clients.

PERSONAL TRAINING: CSU’s Personal Training program is committed to the quality fitness instruction and motivation necessary for personal achievement. Our certified personal trainers accommodate all individuals by designing innovative programs tailored to personal goals and interests. CSU’s personal trainers boast outstanding education, accreditation, and expertise that guides successful fitness programming. From total body conditioning to reconditioning after an injury, our staff is ready to guide and develop your personal best...$25 per session.  Multiple sessions can be purchased.

PARTNER TRAINING: Personal Training can be done in groups of two. You and a friend, spouse, or loved one can hire a Personal Trainer who will help you both accomplish your fitness pursuits. The training session packages will begin with a fitness assessments, then the Trainer will develop programs that take into account personal goals and fitness levels...$35 per session.  Multiple sessions can be purchased.

3 Sessions + Fitness Assessment Recommended for new clients.

Personal Training and Partner Training Registration

New clients must complete the Personal Training Registration packet and make payment prior to scheduling their first appointment.  Registration packets can be picked up at the Rec Center Service Desk or printed from Registration Packet link below.  Payment and completed registration packets can be dropped off at the Rec Center Service Desk; at this time your first appointment will also be scheduled.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING: Small group personal training gives participants the opportunity to increase their knowledge and skill of a particular exercise. While improving a skill set, workout with a group of friends, teammates, colleagues, or roommates. Each session is set up based on the skill level of the participants, so all fitness levels are welcome. This type of training offers specialized attention from the trainer while incorporating a greater social setting and reduced overall cost. .

Small Group Training Programs include:
Boxing: 
Boxing fundamentals including use of mitt, heavy bag, jump rope, footwork drills, and defense tactics.
Sports Conditioning:  (
general or sport specific)Specific to sport training including plyometrics, agility drills, sprints, and medicine ball.
Mass Gain:  Focus on proper exercises combined with set/rep combinations specific to gaining mass.
Strength Training:  Fundamentals of resistance training including machines, free weights, cables, and other exercises that focus on resistance training. 
Beginning Fitness:  Focus on the basics of integrating a well-balanced exercise program.

5 Session Package: $180 ($60/member)
8 Session Package: $288 ($98/member)

Small Group Training Registration

Only one member from the group is needed for registration. Registration requires completion of  a brief registration packet and complete payment. Appointments will be scheduled two business days after payment is made through a personal matching with the Fitness Coordinator. One member can pay for the whole group or each individual member can pay separately.
