Intro to Rock Climbing - Sec 1

*REGISTRATION OPENS JANUARY 2, 2010*

This one-day class is designed for first time rock climbers who want an introduction to the sport.  No previous experience is necessary.  We introduce you to fundamentals of climbing, such as technique, rope management, knots, belaying, and rappelling.  If you've been indoor rock climbing, and are interested in taking the next step to advance your climbing outside, then this course is a great introduction.

We will provide helmets, harnesses, ropes, and all technical hardware.  Climbing shoes are strongly recommended and are available at no charge.
