Shobudo Jujutsu is a traditional Japanese martial art encompassing a wide variety of techniques that include striking, throwing, rolling, falling, and many controlling locks, pins, and holds. Training goals include self-discipline, integration of mind and body, physical conditioning, and self-defense. The initial focus of the class is to introduce Shobudo Jujutsu and increase students' ability to successfully defend themselves both mentally and physically, as well as improve flexibility, agility, and confidence. Continuing students will refine basic techniques and explore further aspects of the art.
